A large part of my career has been in business development and corporate development.  Some of the best strategies and tactics I’ve learned has come from observing folks on the other side of a deal.  I recently came across a presentation by Chris Fralic, a partner at First Round Capital.  Chris writes a good blog Chris recently gave a presentation to 70+ entrepreneurs at the DreamitVentures conference in Philadelphia on the topic of start up business development.  Chris has a long track record in business development working for firms such as Half.com, eBay, del.icio.us, and TED Conferences.  He offers a lot of solid, pragmatic advice that any tech startup should consider when they think about their business development program.  I’ve embedded a Scribd version of his presentation below.  Enjoy.
